Hello friends,

I know I just sent out an email yesterday… I have some really good news that I needed to share and I couldn’t wait or I would probablly forget to in the next couple of days.

There is a wonderful little cafe in Olathe called Dragonfly– they have delicious pastries, cakes, Boba Tea, Coffees… it’s ran by a family- I think 2 sisters and a daughter… Anyway, the owner, Cindy shared with my dad today that they are asking every single customer that comes through to Pray the Pee Prayer for Carmen. Let me share with you what this is-

There is a African American pastor that was in the movie The Secret who has a church in CA– Cindy went to this guy’s church with a friend that had some sort of kidney disease and was down to 10% function or close to it. He asked the lady “why don’t we pray for complete healing and restoration of your kidneys?” She kinda hesitated and wasn’t sure if she had the faith to be healed. He asked the congregation to pray for this lady every time they went pee. He adopted the “pee prayer.”

Now, I am taking this and passing it onto you my dear friends. I know you are praying for me- so let’s make it a little easier for you to remember.:)

In addition to Cindy asking the customers to pray for Carmen, she is also asking them to consider being tested and to be a donor for me. How cool is this?! I just met Cindy’s daughter, Angela 2 days ago! Friends, do you have any idea how touched I am by people that are willing to extend this kind of support, especially those that I just met are are practically strangers to me? I hope you have goosebumps all over you as you are reading this! I told you this was really good news that I had to share!

I really need to get my facebook page up and published this weekend- I am super motivated!! I will do my best.
