March 2, 2009 – Health Update

Hello friends,
Thank you to those that call or write to check in and see how  i am doing.  I appreciate it very much. I apologize for not taken the calls all the time as sometimes I honestly do not feel like talking. I know it has been a little while since you have heard from me.  Last time I shared, my health is stable.  This is partially true.  I had a follow up appointment last week (Thursday) with the nephrologist and turns out things are not as good as I had thought.  From now on, I will have someone go with me to these appointments.
My kidney function is stable meaning that I have not lost any more function.  The protein/blood in my urine has doubled.  This is very bad and can cause the function to continue to deteriorate and for things to get worse. They are very concerned about this.  The fish oil is suppose to help with this this. I am now authorized to take the 12,000 mg of fish oil.  I was working my way up and trust me, it takes awhile to get used to taking 12 huge pills.
My cholesterol has lowered 100 points. Now, I am iron deficient, anemic and may have to start giving myself injections.  I really do not want to give myself these.  I will have some blood taken today as this will determine the status of going forward with the shots.
I definitely still need lots of prayers!  I thank you again to all of you that have been faithful with this!
As far as the job front– well, I am working for Arissa and modeling center and currently it’s commision only.  I am still interviewing with places and would like for something part time.  With my health stuff, I am so limited now, it has really changed things- kind of scary.
I would appreciate not to be flooded with calls– it kind of depresses me to talk about this over and over. I hope you can understand.

Thanks again for your support– I really need it right now.
